Cheryl Rae plays the Seafest. She brought to the show an amazing wealth of talented musicians. Her love for music and writing is abundant in her endless resource. Her soothing vocals woos anyone who hears her. Her kindness upon meeting her is becoming one of Maui's vast hidden jewels. The show was flawless and the audience was in her trance. We hope she returns to the SeaFest next years and delivers her superb blend of music. Always dedicated to the art, thats Maui's Cheryl Rae. MIDNIGHT RAIN CD While listening to Cheryl Rae's just released CD I was struck by the albums cover & the many places Cheryl has traveled to. Bringing her music to the far reaches of the globe. I am sure they must want her to return there. With lyrics included I started my journey.Spirits in the wind is the love song of songs, spread your wings & fly, oh sweet angel, & soothe me with your amazing harmonies. Cheryl Rae delivers her sort of country style yet rock rhythms in Love and Cold Words. Midnight Rain (title track) reaches into your feel good, with her sort of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Harmonies. True Hearts, I'm missing you Tonight & I'm Kind Of Blue unequivocally makes her Maui's female love balladeers. Voices from the Heart is a must listen to song. She packs the work in this. Dont try to tell me & Do you remember tells of the changing times we all face in our lives, done so well. Cheryl Rae has also gathers some real cool players for this album. Tom Hall guitars, Dave Anthony guitars, Deon Estus bass, Gilbert Emata keyboards, Josh Greenbaum drums, and on vocal harmony Marie DeJournette, well done Marie. Cheryl really delivers on Midnight Rain..sultry, sexy, calming to the ears, kind to the heart. Thoughout the years this CD will bring you joy. I am glad Cheryl Rae is a pioneer & comforts us in the arms of her warm embrace, please bring up more. This CD will be in your top ten CD rotation. Thank you so much Cheryl Rae........"Lono of Ono Lono Music".
